ROMP is always looking for individuals with special superpowers to MOVE its mission!

Field Volunteer:

Travel with us to Latin America and gain hands-on experience side by side with our staff. Whether you are in the O&P field, PT/OT, Engineering, Nursing, Yoga, Marketing, Spanish, or Photography - we would love to have you join us in Guatemala or Ecuador!

Ambassador:

Join our tight-knit group of leaders working to support ROMP’s goals and helping move our mission forward. ROMP Ambassadors meet monthly via Zoom and are responsible for completing one passion project a year to help ROMP!

Climbing for ROMP / Moving for ROMP Leader:

Each year, hundreds of people around the world come together on trails and mountaintops to raise awareness and funds for ROMP through our global event, Climbing for ROMP! Through Moving for ROMP, individuals leverage their mobility to help others by dedicating a race, trip, or personal challenge to a ROMP patient. Whether it's a 5k, marathon, triathlon, or backpacking trip - you can use your miles to change a life by fundraising for ROMP!

Components for a Cause (C4C) Volunteer:

Help ROMP collect new and used prosthetic components from around the US through our program, Components for a Cause. Whether you’re an O&P clinic, practitioner, amputee, or volunteer dedicated to mobility, you can help us collect components for our patients!

US Assistance Program (USAP) Practitioner:

If you are an O&P practitioner, you can join our network of volunteer practitioners in the US to help underserved amputees who do not have access to prosthetic care due to immigration status, lack of insurance, or extreme financial hardship. ROMP serves USAP patients on a case by case basis.

Board Member or Advisor:

ROMP is looking for dedicated individuals to join as a director or advisor. Directors serve two-year renewable terms, meet monthly via Zoom, and are asked to serve on a committee. Advisors may serve on a committee, task force, or as an individual mentor/coach. Directors and advisors come from a variety of backgrounds and bring diverse skills to the organization. The most important qualification is having a willingness to serve and a passion for ROMP’s mission!

Other:

There are so many ways to get involved with ROMP: start a birthday Facebook fundraiser, join our Monthly Donors, volunteer at an event, and so much more. We are open to ideas too!
